Finished Burlap Wreath

John 6:68-69

[68] Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, [69] and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

I bought this roll of burlap from Michael's.
It comes in a roll and it will take several rolls depending on the size you want to make.
I used a wire wreath base.
You gather the burlap in your hand to make a
loop, tie off the bottom to help it hold it's shape, then keep doing this
until you get to the end of all the rolls you will
use to make your wreath!
In between each loop tie the loops to the wire frame.
The loops need to be close together.
After you finish, twist and turn until
you get the desired look.

A Little Bit of Fall

John 3:35-36

[35] The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. [36] Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Cotton Boll Wreath

10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.
11 For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers, - Hebrews 2:10-11

For Baby Lucy

Mark 2:17
And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

These rag wreaths take time to do but are not hard.
The amount of material you use depends on the size of your wreath.
I pin( really long pins with a head) my bunched up material to the wreath after I band the folded bottom to make the flower.
I use a styrofoam form, the extruded ones.

New Life to Old Wreath

James 3:17-18
17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Spruce up old wreaths by simply adding a new bow!

Burlap Wreath

1 Kings 9:8-9
8 And this house will become a heap of ruins. Everyone passing by it will be astonished and will hiss, and they will say, 'Why has the LORD done thus to this land and to this house?' 9 Then they will say, 'Because they abandoned the LORD their God who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore the LORD has brought all this disaster on them.'"

I bought this burlap from Michael's.
It comes in a roll and it will take several rolls depending on the size you want to make.
I used a wire wreath base.
You gather the burlap in your hand to make a
loop, tie off the bottom to help it hold it's shape, then keep doing this
until you get to the end of all the rolls you will

For Baby Harper

Luke 12:25
25 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?

This is for baby Harper! By accident, I bought a 16 inch foam extruded base, which in turn, made me have to buy more material and pins. I think I ended up using 5 yds.  Save your left over material squares and you can make a multi fabric wreath!

For Baby JR

1 Corinthians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

I made this for my grandson out of a feather boa from Hobby Lobby. The base is a Styrofoam circle. Wrap the boas around and tie off the end and tuck it under. The number of boas depend on the size of the circle.

Pine Cone Ornament

John 10:32-38
32 Jesus answered them, "I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?"
33 The Jews answered him, "It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God."
34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I said, you are gods'?
35 If he called them gods to whom the word of God came--and Scripture cannot be broken--
36 do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?
37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me;
38 but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father."

These are the cutest things!

Styrofoam ball
tiny pine cones
ribbon
hot glue
t pins or floral pins

Press pine cone into ball to make an indention and glue. Place as close as possible so you want have naked spots. Secure ribbon on top top make a holder and on bottom to make a bow.

Baby Girl Wreath

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

This is so cute but boy do I hate working with burlap! It stinks and has so many loose fibers that fly every where! Wear a mask if you have breathing difficulties!

1 14" Styrofoam extruded wreath base
2 - 2 1/2 yards of burlap
250 pearl top long pins
ribbon
clear pony tail holders from Walmart

Cut fabric into 4" squares. Grasp the square from the top middle and bunch up into a flower shape.
Place holder on bottom of scrunched up square to hold it's flower shape. Pin into base. This takes a day to make. Make a bow out of your favorite ribbon. Cut small pieces of ribbon and pin throughout
wreath.

Berry Wreath

Acts 2:24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.

This is the simplest of wreaths to make!
Buy a grapevine wreath and a berry garland.
Wrap around the grapevine wreath until you have the desired look.
Top with the bow of your choice or use it with no bow!
This is a fall season one but you can do them with spring flowers also.

For Baby Wade

for baby wade

Ps.127:3

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.

This was a fun project that turned out
absolutely gorgeous!! I had some linen
look material (can't remember how many yards but I think it was 3 or 4) and I cut it into 4x4 squares. It takes around 200 squares. I then folded the square in half and pinched
the the square from the top center and scrunched
it into a flower shape. I used those tiny clear hair rubber
bands and put it on the bottom to hold the flower shape.
I then pinned them to a 14 inch white Styrofoam extruded wreath base, I found at Hobby Lobby.
I used extra long white headed pins that I got at Walmart, but extra long t pins would work fine.
This project took 1 day to make. I topped it off with a chevron print ribbon.
