But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? 1 John 3:17

Christmas Mailbox

4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.
6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.
1 John 3:4-6

Bunch of evergreens from yard
Wet oasis
Wire
Netting from grocery store fruit
Bow
A length of fresh garland to wrap mailbox post.

Place wet oasis in an old piece of netting, the kind fruit comes in.
Use netting that has large openings.
Wire wet oasis to top of mailbox post.
Stick greenery into oasis.
Start with your large lengths of cedar or Christmas tree type material, doing sides first, then top.
Fill in with all different kinds of greenery.
I also used berries.
You can add pine cones, fruit, etc.
To finish off add a large bow with streamers.

Philemon 1:
4 I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers,
5 because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints,
6 and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.

Twine, I dyed mine with food coloring
Old sturdy container, I used a large coffee creamer can
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks

Cut the lengths of twine to wrap the can, keeping the ends that meet all together on the backside.
This creates a seam, it's not too attractive. I also used 2 different thickness of twine. I started from the top but got too close to the rim and my plastic lid wouldn't fit. Start at the top and work your way down, making sure your lid fits.
